Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026.

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Sol service, operated by Sol, Inc., a Delaware corporation. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

The service

Sol is an AI meeting-outcomes tool. When you submit a meeting transcript, the extraction engine reads it and returns the decisions made during that meeting, the action items each with an assigned owner and a due date, and a short summary. Sol also tracks whether those action items are completed across meetings so your team has a running picture of what is done and what is still open.

Sol proposes. You decide. Every extraction is a best-effort analysis of the transcript you provide. It is not a guarantee that every decision or action item has been correctly identified, that owner attributions are accurate, or that due dates match your team's actual commitments. You are responsible for reviewing all output before sharing or acting on it. Sol is an assistant, not a record of truth.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@soltechnologies.org if you believe your account has been compromised.

One person or entity may not maintain more than one free-tier account. Accounts are not transferable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit transcripts or other content you do not have the right to share.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or extract model weights or proprietary algorithms underlying the service.
  • Automate access in a way that places unreasonable load on the service infrastructure.
  • Use the service to build a competing product that replicates its core meeting-extraction function.
  • Upload, transmit, or process content that is illegal, harmful, or in violation of third-party rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

Plans, billing, and renewals

Sol is offered on three plans:

  • Free. Up to 5 meetings per month at no cost. No credit card required.
  • Team. USD $29 per seat per month, billed monthly via Stripe. An annual billing option is available at a discount equivalent to two months free. Team subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • Business. USD $79 per seat per month, billed monthly via Stripe, with the same annual discount. Business subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Custom volume arrangements are negotiated directly under a separate order form.

All fees are in US dollars and are exclusive of taxes. Where applicable law requires us to collect tax, we will add it at checkout. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in a separate order form.

To cancel a paid subscription, visit your account settings before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until then.

Customer data and intellectual property

You retain all ownership of the meeting transcripts and other content you submit to Sol. You also own the extracted outputs Sol produces from your transcripts, including decisions, action items, and summaries.

By using the service, you grant Sol, Inc. a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, store, and process your data solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim any intellectual property rights in your data or your outputs.

Sol, the extraction engine, its interface, the underlying software, and all associated intellectual property remain the property of Sol, Inc..

Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information from the other in connection with the service. Each party agrees to use that information only as necessary to perform its obligations and to protect it with at least the care it uses for its own confidential information.

Your meeting transcripts are treated as your confidential information. We will not share them with other customers, use them to train shared models, or disclose them to third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as-is and as-available. Sol makes no warranty, express or implied, that the extraction engine will correctly identify every decision or action item in a transcript, that owner attributions are accurate, that due dates are inferred correctly, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

You are solely responsible for reviewing any extracted output before sharing or acting on it. Sol processes transcripts and reasons about them; the resulting output is a starting point, not a certified record.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sol, Inc. and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred US dollars.

Term and termination

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the service. Either party may terminate at any time: you by deleting your account, we by providing 30 days of written notice unless you have materially breached these Terms, in which case we may terminate immediately.

On termination, your access to the service ends. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow export, then delete it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we will email the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect and note the change at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
